Debbie's Reverse Glass Painting:

In 1996 Debbie uncovered & discovered her deep passion to paint. As a self taught artist she found herself facinated with glass and the play of light on glass. After reading an article on Reverse Glass Painting she found a strong connection to the art form. She tried for months to find out how to do it and who did it. What she found is that it is an extreemly rare and difficult art form and no artist could tell her how to do it. So Debbie decided to dive in and paint in reverse. Litterally resesitation and reviving an art form that dates back to the 10th Century. Thinking green from an early age of 10, it was natural for her at the age of 35, to rescue vintage windows and use them for a canvas for her Reverse Glass Paintings. From 1996 to about 2006 she has sold 100's of glass paintings all over the Country. If you are the lucky owner of one you know the depth of inspiration of these magnificant peices. Debbie has over 100 drawings of her original Reverse Glass Paintings (painted on the back of glass in reverse order of traditional painting while not being able to see what you are painting) of flowers, tuscan landscapes romantic goddesses, gardens and many others.

Today Debbie still loves to paint in reverse. And offers these one of kind orginals first come first serve. As they take months to paint, this year we will be lucky to have her paint five.
